Relationships: Puzzles?

I've recently been trying to get involved romantically with a co-worker of mine. It started off innocently enough with conversation back and forth between the two of us at the job.

She at times would poke her head into my cube to ask me questions or to sort of poke her nose into my work materials in a playful way. I think she might have been starting to take an interest in something but the realism of our long distance situation was part of what stopped her.

Time to forge a relationship or some stronger bond

It is most unfortunate that she had to leave before you actually got an opportunity to forge a relationship or some sort of stronger bond with her. I concur with your assessment that when she realized that she was going to move that she decided to forgot her emotions and just concentrate on the move and her mum.

From the sounds of things she sounds like a very practical / methodical person. She probably has very good organizational skills and a focus to make something of her life.

Long distance relationship a difficult thing to accomplish

I can only assume that in the absence of a dad that they have a very close relationship and that she may be the driving force behind her to succeed.

However as you have found out yourself she has had previous relationships before and would possibly be willing to commit to another one on the road to her career path. Having a long distance relationship with any girl would be a difficult thing to accomplish. Not impossible but there are quite a few foreseeable obstacles.

Connect with woman on a mental level

Bottom line: If you wanted to be friends with her then your chances would probably be quite good but in regards to a relationship, this would require a considerable and consistent amount of vigilance on your part.
