Relationships: Puzzles?

I have met a great woman, she is beautiful and such a funny character. She has told me that she isn't interested in going out.

We have had times where we get affectionate; close hugging, holding hands which is great. But at work we seem to find it hard to talk. At times it doesn't feel as if we are as close as we used to be. Do we have a chance of becoming partners, and is there anything I can do now to continue to keep her interested?

Women have been taught into finding it very difficult to make the first move, even more difficult than it is for a man. This is weird because a man’s chances of getting rejected are far higher.

If she is interested in you, she will seek you out. Otherwise, make new friends, and seek a beautiful and funny woman who does not work on the same job with you.

If she has said she isn't interested in going out yet, I would move on. She is trying to tell you in a nice way that the feelings aren't mutual. It is hard to talk at work because work is an awkward place to try to have a relationship.

She may be one of those people who feel they will not date on the job, period. But follow your instincts. If you are having doubts, it is because it doesn't feel right.

Sometimes putting some distance between partners refreshes mutual attraction

Bottom line: Sometimes it's good to follow instincts even if we don't fully understand why. That is our own inner voice always looking out for us. I would back off of her totally. Sometimes putting some distance there works.
